Gill is an experienced coach and mentor, working with clients at all levels on a broad range of workplace issues which have included: managing a heavy workload, work-life balance, communicating more effectively with others, increasing impact in meetings, delivering presentations more confidently, delegating successfully, making important career choices... and many more besides!

Gill holds an OCM Diploma (with Distinction) in Professional Coach/Mentoring. Drawing on a wide range of tools and models, she tailors her approach to each client's requirements after an initial diagnostic conversation, which includes a discussion about 'how we'll work together'.

Length, frequency and duration of sessions vary. These are agreed and reviewed frequently. Typically coaching will consist of six one hour sessions. However, a single session of an hour may be enough for the client to achieve the shift they wanted. Or if there are many or complex issues that the client is keen to work on, sessions might last longer, and/or could be up to 24 in number. Frequency of sessions is usually not more than weekly, and not less than monthly.

Through structured conversations, using questions, feedback, support and challenge, Gill will work with you as a client to:

  • help you identify what you want to achieve
  • encourage you to set goals
  • help you work things out for yourself
  • help you explore options
  • encourage you to reflect on experiences and learn from them
  • help you plan how to meet your goals

The initial session is free. In this first conversation you'll explore your learning goals, identify whether coaching is the right approach for you, and decide whether you and Gill are well matched to work together on your goals. It's important, if coaching is to be effective, that you have the right coach - it's a good idea to meet with several coaches before making a decision.

The cost of coaching includes a useful written summary: areas we've covered, goals you've defined and actions you've decided on. Please call Gill to discuss your requirements.

Clients in the south west: we'll agree what location will work best for our sessions. For further away/international clients, sessions are held on Skype or by telephone, depending what you prefer.

'Coaching with Gill has been a life changing experience and I now see our regular sessions as a vital tool in my personal and professional development.'

(Jo Curson, Head of Development, GreenSquare Group)
